The city of Maricopa named Denyse Airheart as the new interim director of economic development on April 20.

Airheart has been with the city since 2013. She joined to expand the city’s retail, commercial and industrial industries. In her new role, she will be responsible for bringing new business and investments to the city, as well as coordinating economic development with other public service departments, and the community.

“I am pleased to have Denyse join our executive team," City Manager Gregory Rose said. "Denyse's more than seven years of experience in business development and recruitment will serve as a significant asset fulfilling the City's vision of a prosperous future.”
