A chance for moms to get a workout in, a benefit for a local youngster and a night for the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce highlight this week’s business briefs.

Night classes available for working moms

If you have not already seen a group of mommies pushing babies in strollers rolling through your neighborhood, you will soon. Stroller Strides of Maricopa recently announced night classes for working moms.

The workout is designed to keep mom fit and baby entertained during the hour long all-over body exercise program. The local Stroller Strides franchise, owned by Maricopa mom Jodi Cox, has been offering morning classes to local mothers for over a year now.

Cox is now offering night classes and a weekend morning class. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday nights at the park at Cobble Stone Farms at 6 p.m. and Saturday morning at 8 a.m. at The Villages clubhouse. Classes start around $2 each or more, depending on the membership.

For further information, call Cox at 888-263-5158 or email: [email protected] .

The back to school photo shoot will offer photography by Paula Stiller. The charges are $15 per child, $5 for each additional child.
