Rudy’s Poker Run inaugural event

Bikers are wanted to help start a Cinco de Mayo tradition in Maricopa. Rudy’s Poker Run is a motorcycle ride that starts in Ahwatukee and goes through Gilbert, Queen Creek, Florence and ends in Maricopa at Ramsey’s American Grill.

Along with three bands and a big party at the end, the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce will host a vendor village at Ramsey’s where local businesses can host a booth.

Solutions for Building on Business Seminar

The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce will present keynote speaker Joan Koerber-Walker, CEO of the Arizona Small Business Association, to talk about solutions for building on business fundamentals. Ramsey’s American Grill welcomes new chef

Chef David Martinez is the new chef at Ramsey’s American Grill in the Fry’s shopping center on John Wayne Parkway. Martinez said he is excited to work in a community with a small town feel and is anxious to making his mark in the community. “There’s nothing better then a blend of roasted chilies and fresh garden vegetables,” he said, noting how he wants to contribute a Mexican concept to the menu. Chef Martinez will display his work Wednesday through Sunday evenings at Ramsey’s.
