Preschool, gymnastics center meeting in the middle
Desert Star Gymnastics, which has been operating out of Desert Sun Performing Arts’ studio for the past year, is moving a couple doors down, from Suite 114 to 110 at the Maricopa Manor Business Center, 19756 N. John Wayne Parkway.
The gym is joining Little U. Preschool, which is moving two doors in the other direction from its current location in Suite 108. Little U. had previously shared space with Oasis Life Church.
Beginning Thursday, Desert Star and Little U. will be offering tours of their new facility and accepting registrations for 2008 classes. Call (520) 414-4991 for more information.
Teron’s House hosting MLK celebration Jan. 21
Teron’s House, an organization that supports HIV/AIDS patients and pregnant teens, is hosting a community MLK Day celebration at Rotary Park Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information booths, entertainment and food and drink will be provided.
