Becoming up to date on proper hiring processes, making life better for your pets and a night for the Chamber are among this week’s featured business briefs.

Webinar program begins Aug. 16: Each Thursday the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host a free, live webinar on how to use the Basic Pilot Program to verify employment eligibility. A representative from the Verification Division of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will demo the program and answer any questions the public may have.

Each session is limited to 125 participants who can access the webinar from their own computer and phone. DHS recommends that participants log-in 15 minutes prior to the session to ensure proper set-up.

Spay, neuter clinic held Aug. 17: (M.A.S.H.) and Dr. Neufeld will hold a low cost spay and neuter clinic in Maricopa on Friday, Aug. 17, at Stage Stop Marketplace, 43301 Maricopa Casa Grande Highway. Drop off is between 7:30 and 8 a.m.

Both canine/feline spaying and neutering will be available. Vaccines for Da2pp, Rabies, FVRCP, Bordetella and Feline Leukemia will also be available, as will several tests. Microchips and nail trim w/surgery will also be offered.

Global Water hosts Chamber event Sept. 26: The Global Water Facility, 22590 N. Powers Parkway, will host a “Chamber Night” at their facility in Rancho El Dorado on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
