CAC closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1; semester begins Jan. 18

All Central Arizona College locations will be closed for winter break Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. Locations throughout the district will reopen Jan. 2.

Students still can register online at www.CentralAZ.edu throughout the winter break.

The 2013 spring semester will begin after 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 with a variety of classes including Weekend College. The final day to register for the spring semester is Jan. 19.

The following are the key dates for the 2013 spring semester:

Jan. 21: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; CAC closed.
Jan. 22-28: Class changes/add-drop week.
Feb. 18: President’s Day; CAC closed.
Feb. 22: Faculty development day; no classes prior to 4:30 p.m.
March 11: Last day to apply for May 2013 graduation.
March 18-23: Spring break; CAC closed.
April 1: Summer/fall registration begins.
May 10-17: Final exam week.
May 18: Semester ends.

Commencements:

Superstition Mountain campus: 7 p.m., May 17.
Aravaipa campus: 11 a.m., May 18.
Signal Peak campus: 7 p.m., May 18.
