The City of Maricopa Economic Development team held its quarterly Maricopa Advocates Program meeting Thursday to reiterate their mission and to recognize several of their members.

City officials and local business owners congressed over a light dinner at City Hall where they discussed some of the challenges facing the Maricopa business community, and the role MAP members can take in order to help economic growth.

Economic development director Denyse Airheart conducted the presentation.

In attendance were various business owners and city officials including city council members Peggy Chappados, Vincent Manfredi, Henry Wade, and Nancy Smith and Maricopa Center for Entrepreneurship Director Quintin Baker.
