City announces holiday schedule for services, facilities

With the holiday season upon us, Maricopa hours of service for key facilities and services will be impacted.

Emergency services will be fully staffed and open throughout the holidays, including police and fire, Communications Coordinator Luis Vila said.

City Hall, Copper Sky and the library all will be closed Thanksgiving day but return to normal hours on Friday and through the weekend.

At Christmas, City Hall will be closed the week of Dec. 26 to Jan. 2. City offices will reopen Jan. 3 following the Monday New Year’s Day holiday.

Copper Sky will be closed Christmas and New Year’s days, and also will close at noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

The library will be closed Dec. 24-26, then reopen for full regular hours Dec. 27-30. It will be closed again Dec. 31-Jan. 2 and reopen Jan. 3.
