The City of Maricopa has scheduled agricultural burns that will occur each of the next four Mondays in the vacant lot south of City Hall.  Due to the burns residents may notice smoke between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:
•    Jan. 25
•    Feb. 1
•    Feb. 8
•    Feb. 15
The burns will be rescheduled if windy conditions are present at the scheduled date and time. Residents will be notified of any change in dates. A water truck will be on scene at all times.
