The city of Maricopa is now accepting registrations for the Fall 2009 Co-ed Volleyball League.
The league begins its season Sept. 14 and concludes eight weeks later with a tournament to determine the Maricopa volleyball champions.
Each week there will be one recreational game on Monday night and one competitive game on Wednesday night.
“This is a great opportunity for residents to have some fun and get active,” said Monica Rubio, city of Maricopa parks and recreation coordinator.
The league cost is $200 per team, with each team typically made up of six to eight players. Rubio keeps a free agent list to match people up with a team so individuals can take part in the league.
