The regular season for Maricopa Little Leaguers came to an end Saturday morning with closing ceremonies and recognition of the teams from various divisions.
Most of the players are now anticipating the start of next season’s practices and games. The All-Stars from both baseball and softball, however, still have some games to play and practicing to do before they take the field during the second week of July in Maricopa (baseball All-Stars) and at Casa Grande (softball All-Stars).
