It will be a cloudy and cooler start to the week ahead, but it’s not going to last, according to the National Weather Service. A little precipitation is also expected. Starting Thursday everything will be back to normal with highs into the 90s and dry conditions.

Today there is a slight chance of showers before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m.  It will remain cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny later this afternoon with a high near 86 and winds 5 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Tonight will become mostly clear, with a low around 55 and winds 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 85. Tuesday night will be clear with a low around 56.

Wednesday will start heating up and it will be sunny with a high near 89. Wednesday night expect mostly clear skies with a low around 57.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 92. Thursday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 59.

Friday will remain sunny with a high near 96. Friday night will be clear with a low around 60.

This weekend, expect more sun, more heat and no moisture. Highs will be in the upper 90s all weekend.
