Maricopa Police arrested a man on a list of domestic-violence charges in Cobblestone Farms last week.

Officers responded to a call of “unknown trouble” at a home in the Cobblestone Farms neighborhood at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 7. There, officers learned Grant Smith, 32, was fighting with a woman and her daughter.

Earlier, Smith threw furniture at the woman and the girl while yelling profanities, according to the probable-cause statement. He allegedly threatened the woman he was “going to kill her,” which the woman believed, according to the statement.

Smith was arrested and booked into Pinal County jail on aggravated assault and disorderly conduct charges, as well as separate domestic-violence charges of assault, disorderly conduct, threatening and criminal damage. A preliminary court hearing was scheduled for Feb. 17.
