Community garage sales to be held in Rancho El Dorado, Villages

The semi-annual tradition of a community-wide garage sale in Rancho El Dorado will expand to include its neighbor, Villages at Rancho El Dorado. The events will take place on consecutive weekends in October:

Rancho El Dorado: October 21-23, 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Villages at Rancho El Dorado: October 28-30, 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Local realtor Dawn Madden (pictured at right) conceived the idea and volunteers her time to coordinate the effort. A map of all the participating homeowners will be created and distributed to bargain hunters making the rounds.

Participating households must register at least one week in advance of the sale to ensure their location is listed on the map. A nominal fee will be collected to pay for the maps, signage, etc.
