Community wind ensemble now recruiting new members

The Central Arizona College Community Wind Ensemble is looking for musicians from Pinal County who are interested in joining its band.
 
The ensemble is comprised of approximately 50 members ranging in age from 16-90, representing communities located throughout Pinal County. Rehearsals occur on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:50 p.m.
 
The CAC Community Wind Ensemble performs a wide range of standard concert band literature, as well as lighter works, and performs one concert each semester in the Don P. Pence Center for Visual & Performing Arts on the Signal Peak Campus. The fall concert is scheduled for Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.
 
The ensemble is conducted by Professor Rick Moore, CAC’s director of bands, and is open to anyone who wishes to continue playing their instrument and can make the commitment to attend rehearsals.
