The COPA Music Festival celebrated Black History Month on Saturday night on the lawn at Copper Sky Regional Park.

Six soul and R&B artists performed in the Maricopa Veterans Care Center-sponsored concert, which included vendors and Grandmama’s Kitchen food truck.

The entertainment included Rhythm Section – The Kings of Soul of Chicago; Elaine Stepter; Fel Davis, lead singer of Public Announcement; noted blues and soul singer Willie Clayton; Jermaine Lockhart, international jazz saxophonist; and Tracy Sanders, Diana Ross tribute singer. The event was hosted by singer Adina Howard.

Reed’s Classic Car Day in the Copa preceded the concert.
