Country Stylin’ Features New Stylist

Owning her own salon was always a dream and a goal for local resident and community 4-H leader Janine Brown. Country Stylin’ Salon and Day Spa opened two years ago with Ms. Brown, a graduate of Classic Beauty College and a Redken specialist, at the helm. The salon offers many services, including hair cutting and styling, color, color correction, full and partial weaves, highlighting, and both partial and spiral perms.

Naomi Ramsey, a resident of Thunderbird Farms and the mother of three-month-old Abigale, has been at Country Stylin’ since its opening in August of 2003. Trained at the Arizona Institute of Massage Therapy, Ms. Ramsey is available by appointment (705-3007) for services like Swedish and Shiatsu (a Japanese floor mat form) massages. She also offers Cranial Sacral massage that concentrates on the head, neck and spinal cord, Reflexology that focuses on the hands and feet, aromatic wraps, and salt glow or sea salts mixed with aromatic oils for the body.

New to Maricopa and to Country Stylin’ in the last two weeks is stylist Annette Milauskos who moved to Rancho Eldorado just eight weeks ago. A single mother from Chicago, Ms. Milauskos has a daughter in Tempe, a son at Arizona State University, and another son at Central Missouri State. A stylist in the Chicago area, she is Redken-trained and worked with Dana Moore and Eddie Caruso in the St. Charles, Illinois area. Ms. Milauskos stated, ” I’m looking forward to a new life here in Maricopa.”
