Supervisor to hold Maricopa office hours July 5

Pinal County Supervisor David Snider will hold his monthly office hours in Maricopa on July 5. Snider will be at city hall, 45145 W. Madison Ave., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are finalizing our county budget for the upcoming fiscal year,” Snider said. “It looks to be about 17 percent less than last year’s budget. I am pleased to report that the tax rate will remain the same. It is something of a good news, bad news scenario for homeowners. The good news is that many will pay less in taxes, but the bad news is that the valuations are going down as well. If any Maricopa residents would like to talk to me about this or any other issue, I’d be more than happy to meet with you during my office hours.”
