The City of Maricopa will partner with Southwestern Pediatrics and Family Care to offer 400 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in a one-day clinic on Saturday, Jan. 23.
The vaccine will be administered by Southwestern Pediatrics and Family Care staff and other licensed health care professionals with the support of city employees to facilitate the process and ensure the safety of all participants.
Vaccinations will be available for residents who qualify under groups 1A or 1B as classified below:
Group 1A:
  • Healthcare professionals
  • Long-term care residents
Group 1B:
  • Essential works and infrastructure (including law enforcement, corrections officers, education sector, food and agriculture, utilities and transportation)
  • Persons aged 75 years and older

Due to the shortage of vaccines, Pinal County vaccination teams have decided they will be unable to include the ADHS recommended group of 65 to 74 years old and encourage registration through the ADHS site at Phoenix Stadium. Walk-ins and onsite registration are not permitted; all qualified participants must pre-register. Participants must submit a completed pre-qualification questionnaire to ensure they qualify to receive the vaccine. For more information regarding qualification, visit the Pinal County Health Department.
The clinic will be take place at the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center. The facility is well-equipped and spacious to allow for physical distancing of large groups. All visitors will be required to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth and maintain a distance of at least six feet from others.
The online registration link will be released Tuesday, Jan. 19 at about 4 p.m. and the first 400 qualified registrants may select a one hour block of time to receive their vaccine. To ensure a smooth check-in and avoid long wait times, please come prepared with a copy of your completed questionnaire, government-issued photo identification and insurance card.
Appointments to receive the second dose of the vaccine may be scheduled onsite.
