The Development Services Department is seeking resident input on Maricopa’s Design Standards Manual.
The Design Standards Manual is intended as a supplement to the City of Maricopa’s Zoning Ordinance, which regulates the use of the land and provides specific regulations for the development of land throughout the city.
The draft manual may be viewed at the following locations: City Hall, 45145 W. Madison Ave. and the Maricopa Public Library, 44240 West Maricopa/Casa Grande Highway.
Public comments must be received by Oct. 31, 2008, by 5 p.m. Comments should be submitted in writing. Mail all comments to Design Standards Manual, 45145 West Madison Avenue, Maricopa, AZ 85239, drop them off at City Hall or e-mail Brad Hinton at [email protected].
All comments will be reviewed and considered by the Development Services staff. The final draft is expected to be completed in January 2009. Contact Hinton at (520) 316-6921 for answers to questions about the public comment process.
