5.1 SUB05.06: A request by El Dorado Holdings Inc. for approval of a preliminary plat, Phase 1A and Phase 1B, for the development of approximately 635.41 acres (gross) as part of the 2005 City Council approved Master Planned Development known (MPD) as Eagle Shadow (PAD05-09). The zoning for this (MPD) includes various uses such as; residential, commercial, mixed use, schools, and open space. The proposed preliminary plat for Eagle Shadow Phase 1A and Phase 1B development is predominantly residential with a twelve (12) acre school site and is located in part of Sections 30 and 31, Township 4 South, Range 4, East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona in the City of Maricopa. The property is also bounded by the future Santa Cruz Wash alignment to the east, Farrell Road to the south, Honeycutt Road to the north and unsubdivided land to the west. The preliminary plat proposes a total of 2, 179 dwelling units with a gross density of 3.42 dwelling units per acre. Discussion & Action.

The Planning & Zoning Commission may go into executive session for purposes of obtaining legal advice from the City’s attorney on any of the above agenda items pursuant to A.R.S.§ 38-431.03 (A)(3).
