Maricopa police and fire personnel responded Thursday afternoon to a traffic accident involving a motorcycle on State Route 347 at Lakeview Drive.
The motorcyclist was injured in the 2 p.m. crash and taken to the hospital via ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the City of Maricopa Fire/Medical Department.
A witness wrote on a community Facebook page that the injured biker suffered a broken leg, but that could not be immediately confirmed with the fire department.
