Concert – Haruhito Miyagi, American Composer and Organist

Free-will offeringA thrilling fundraising performance on the Rodgers Infinity 361 organ by guest artiste, Haruhito Miyagi, is set for April 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Haruhito Miyagi, of Salt Lake City, Utah, is a Japanese-American composer and organist. He holds degrees in organ performance from Brigham Young University and the University of Notre Dame, du lac. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Utah in music composition. Miyagi has performed extensively throughout Germany, Hungary, Romania, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He is currently the director of music and organist at Sacred Heart Parish and the assistant organist at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City. The recital will include works by Lübeck, Böhm, Bach, Liszt, Franck and Barber.
A free-will offering will be taken up after the performance. All proceeds will go to raising funds to purchase the Rodgers Infinity 361 for Our Lady of Grace Parish.
