Maricopa’s 14th annual Maricopa Family Fishing Day event has become an annual tradition for parents and children in our community.

The event allows families to participate and catch-and-keep up to 4 fish. The event will be Family Fishing logo snipheld at Copper Sky Regional Park. Each participant receives a loaner fishing kit complete with rod, reel, and bait. The event is then topped off with a good old-fashioned BBQ lunch.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2019, with registration at 8 a.m. and the fishing starting at 9 a.m. Pre-registration is required and is not limited. Fishing licenses are not required, during the planned hours of the event for those who are registered with the Department of Fish & Game to participate.
