The Friends of the Maricopa Public Library will be hosting a large Used Book Sale on Saturday, October 20th, in the parking lot of the City of Maricopa Public Library. Proceeds from the sale help us support the Library and all of the wonderful programs and events they provide for free to the community. We will have books for all ages in all genres, including large print, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, PC games, puzzles, etc… 

Plastic Bags of Books are priced at:

$6 for hardcovers

$3 for paperbacks

$4 for a mixture of hardcovers & paperbacks

Paper Bags of Books are priced at:

$8 for hardcovers

$5 for paperbacks 

$6 for a mixture of hardcovers & paperbacks 

Boxes of Books are priced at:

$10 for hardcovers 

$7 for paperbacks 

$8 for a mixture of hardcovers and paperbacks 

*Bags and Boxes are provided 

DVDs, CDs and Audiobooks are 5/$3 or 10/$5

Boxed Sets are $6 or as marked

Individual Hardcover books are $1.50 and Paperbacks are $.75

Cash or Cards accepted. 

Members of the Friends of the Maricopa Public Library and New Members who register at the Sale will receive their first bag of books for free. 

We will have a quilt donated by the Sisterhood of the Traveling Quilt that is being raffled off as well. Raffle tickets are $1 a piece or 6/$5

Not only will the Friends of the Maricopa Public Library be there but we’ll have live music played by Louvenia Samford, Girl Scouts will be there with information and an activity for kids, The Maricopa Lions Club, the Master Gardeners, the Maricopa Historical Society, Pinal County Animal Control will be there with a few pups looking for furever homes, F.O.R. Maricopa will be collecting no perishables and donations, the Blue Star Mothers of Maricopa will be collecting donations for their care packages being sent to active duty/deployed members of our military, and the Library Initiative For Teens, “LIFT group,” will be holding a car wash as well ($4 for small cars and $6 for large vehicles)!
