CITY OF MARICOPA FIRE/MEDICAL DEPARTMENT is hosting its 7th Annual Ride for Toys event Dec. 14, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Copper Sky Recreation Center. All proceeds benefiting the F.O.R. Maricopa food bank. We are looking for new, unwrapped toys to be donated, in return you are able to ride in one of the Maricopa Fire trucks on site. We will also have raffle prizes including dinner at the fire station and a ride to school in a fire truck. For each of the past 6 years, we have been able to collect over 500 toys and donate a monetary donation of over $1,000 to this great organization. We are hoping to make this our best year ever. Come out and support the families of Maricopa and the children in need this holiday season.
