March 16, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Friends of the Maricopa Public Library is hosting the Spring Used Book Sale in the parking lot of the City of Maricopa Public Library. A large variety of books for all ages in different genres, DVDs, CDs, audio books, large print, box sets, etc.. available to choose from! Proceeds from the sale help the Friends of the Maricopa Public Library support our local City of Maricopa Public Library and all of the events and programs they provide to the community for free.
We will have other local nonprofits and groups joining us as well, such as the Blue Star Mothers of Maricopa who will be collecting donations for their care packages being sent to those deployed, F.O.R. Maricopa who will have information and collecting donations, the Pinal County – Maricopa Master Gardeners at MAC, Girl Scouts, Pet Social Worker / Tails of Hope with furry friends trying to find “furever” homes, The Beignet and Coffee Shack with delicious coffee and beignets for sale, the Library Initiative for Teens (LIFT), and more!
