Rep. Tom O’Halleran will host a roundtable addressing issues facing veterans in Maricopa.

The event also will provide information about assistance available to veterans through O’Halleran’s office. It is scheduled for Monday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 133, 41614 W. Smith Enke Road.

O’Halleran stressed the need to continue to provide services and support to those who serve even after they return home.

“Brave veterans put themselves in harm’s way to serve our nation, yet far too often when they return home, we fail to serve them,” O’Halleran said. “The federal government must uphold its promises to our vets, and that includes providing the very best health care, education, and support after service. I’m pleased to host veterans’ roundtables all across the state this month to hear directly from Arizonans on what they need from their federal government.”
