The Federal Bureau of Investigation served a warrant at a house in the 43000 block of West Magnolia Road early Tuesday, but the agency would not comment on the activity.
The Maricopa Unified School District issued a statement because law enforcement agencies were parking vehicles in a district parking lot.
The statement said the FBI, along with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, were conducting an operation at around 7 a.m.
Maricopa Police spokesman Ricky Alvarado said the FBI was serving a warrant.
FBI spokeswoman Jennifer Giannola responded to an email from InMaricopa with the following statement: “The FBI was conducting law enforcement activity, we have no further comment at this time.”
