Mountain View Community Church and New Founders of Freedom Fraternal Order Riders are hosting a fund-raising to benefit MVCC Food Bank and residents it serves.

The event is Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at MVCC, 50881 W. Papago Road, south of Maricopa.

There will be hotdogs, chili dogs and snow cones. The youngsters can enjoy Bounce Houses.

Services include free haircuts, courtesy of Maricopa’s Head 2 Toe Styling, and free legal advice, courtesy of New Founders of Freedom Riders.

There will be raffles all day, with tickets on sale at the event, and more.

Those who want to continue the fun after the fund-raiser are welcome to join the Riders at Raceway Bar & Grill, 49237 W. Papago Road, just a mile east of the church.

Organizers are looking for donations from local businesses for the dollar raffles – gift certificates, gift cards, game passes, small electronics or games.

All proceeds benefit MVCC Food Bank.
