Mild winter temperatures are in Maricopa’s forecast, according to the National Weather Service. A week of mostly sunny skies will end with a very slight chance of shower at the weekend.

Today, expect clear skies and a high near 74. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 43 degrees.

Tuesday, look for partly sunny skies and a high near 71. Overnight, there will be mostly cloudy skies and a low around 42.

Wednesday, sunny skies are back, and the high is expected to reach 72. The nighttime low will be around 42 under mostly clear skies.

Thursday, the forecast calls for sunny skies and high near 73. The night will be mostly clear with a low around 43.

Friday will be mostly sunny and the high will climb to 75 degrees. Breezes will pick up in the afternoon, building to gusts of 20 mph. That leads to a 10-percent chance of showers after 11 p.m., with wind gusts up to 25 mph and a low of 43.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly sunny. Check back for an update as those dates get closer.
