The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Maricopa tonight from midnight to 9 a.m.

The forecast calls for a low around 30 degrees and could fall into the 20s.

Non-native and sensitive outdoor plants may be damaged. Pets left outside overnight may be injured by the cold temperatures. Crops should be appropriately prepared.

Sunday’s high is expected to be near 61 with sunny skies. The overnight low is forecast to be around 34 but could fall to freezing again.

Temperatures may warm back into the 70s next week.
