The Friends of the Maricopa Community Library are sponsoring their first annual book sale on Saturday, May 21. The sale will be held multi-purpose room at Santa Rosa Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This event will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the establishment of the Maricopa Community Library. Patrons interested in joining the newly formed Friends of the Maricopa Community Library group (see related story) will have an opportunity to sign up at the event as well.
The Maricopa Community Library is adjacent to the community pool on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway just east of Maricopa Road.

Patrons will find books from most major genres including romance, science fiction, children’s, biographies and more. In addition to books, the sale will include select videos and CDs. Prices range from $0.50 to $1.00 for these gently used items. The proceeds from the sale will go to support library programs and services.
