Smartscape training – saving landscapers time, you money and everyone water

442

No matter where you live, your landscape matters. Whether you’re enjoying desert trees, cactus, or something greener, plants impact our lives. In the city of Maricopa, almost 50% of water consumed is used in the landscape — which means we have room for improvement.

Global Water Resources has committed to providing our community clean, safe drinking water now and long into the future. To support this promise, we are sponsoring a training program this summer that teaches landscape professionals all the best practices that support a water wise environment. Landscapes maintained in this way can require less maintenance, use less water, and save you money! Smartscape teaches the fundamentals of designing, installing, irrigating, and maintaining beautiful, water efficient landscapes.

This 9-week course is created for a variety of professionals including:

  • Landscape architects and designers
  • Installation and maintenance supervisors and crews
  • Nursery employees
  • Municipal employees
  • Property managers, and HOA committee members.

The class starts July 13 and meets for 9 weeks on Wednesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Global Water Center, 22590 Powers Pkwy. Maricopa.

Are you ready to get educated, and stay up to date on the latest industry trends, research, and best practices?
