Help is available for local job seekers

Danny Meehan of the Arizona Work Force Connection will be in Maricopa once each week to help residents find jobs.

Meehan now holds office hours from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce, 44870 W. Hathaway Drive.

He will be assisting Maricopans in the use of www.arizonavirtualonestop.com, the online job database for the state.

“This Web site is amazing in matching up employees and employers,” Meehan said.

Meehan will show users how to register for the site and perform basic job searches.
