A combination of a pet-adoption event, a special movie showing for foster kids and fund-raiser for animal-welfare organizations brought a crowd to UltraStar Multi-tainment Center on Saturday morning. While children with JohnJay & Rich Care for Kids Foundation were treated to a screening of “Space Dogs: Adventure to the Moon,” Pinal County Animal Care & Control brought in select dogs from its shelter to be fawned over and, with luck, adopted. Pet vendors also had goods and services on display. A portion of tickets sales from the movie’s weekend premier went to #LovePup.
