Tanqueray Almond drink recipe from the Arroyo Grille at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes.

Ak-Chin Southern Dunes event coordinator Katie Stewart shows us how to mix together a Tanqueray Almond to keep things sweet throughout the winter.

“[Tanqueray Almond] is a great cocktail drink that is very warming with nutty flavors,” Stewart said.

Tanqueray Almond, with Katie Stewart

1 oz. Tanqueray
½ oz. Disaronno
Splash of Bitters
Splash of Sweet n Sour
4 Maraschino Cherries

Start by pouring a half ounce of Disaronno amaretto liqueur into a mixing cup. Then, add a splash of bitters and a splash of sweet ‘n’ sour to bring out the amaretto flavor.

Lastly, add 1 ounce of Tanqueray gin to give the drink a kick. Stir or mix the contents well before pouring into a glass with ice.

Garnish the drink with four Maraschino cherries and enjoy.
