A few clouds are expected to move across Maricopa sporadically this week, leading to a heavily dusty situation on Thursday and perhaps rain on Friday.

After a week that had four days of record highs, according to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 107. Tonight will also be clear with low near 76.

Wednesday is expected to be much the same, with sunny skies and a daytime high near 108 while the nighttime low is around 76.

Thursday will start out sunny with a high near 106. Breezes will increase to 10-15 mph in the afternoon. By nighttime, there will be patchy blowing dust under partly cloudy skies with winds gusting up to 10 mph. The overnight low will be around 78.

Friday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 103. There is a 10-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon until midnight. The patchy blowing dust will also continue.  The nighttime low will be around 75 and skies will become mostly clear.

At this point, the weekend is shaping up to be consistently sunny with a high of 104.
