Internet marketing guru to keynote chamber seminar

Jason Baer, founder of award-winning interactive agency Mighty Interactive, has been providing Internet consulting since the inception of the medium in 1994. On Nov. 27, he’s going to do so for Maricopa businesses as keynote of a business seminar entitled “Internet Marketing that Works. Effective Tactics on a Reasonable Budget.”

Baer has worked with more than 700 companies on their Internet strategies, and he’ll provide specific, easy-to-implement ideas that will improve companies’ online efforts immediately. Topics will range from search marketing, to email, online advertising to effective Web site design.

According to Baer, the Internet industry is “going through a second renaissance, and the pace of change is dramatic right now.”

He recognizes Maricopa’s uniqueness and the importance of the Internet to area residents. “Given the explosive growth in the area, combined with an increasingly-difficult commute into Metro Phoenix, more and more Maricopans are using the Internet and online marketing in their everyday pursuits,” he said.

The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event will be hosted by Oasis Life Church at 19756 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 108. The two-hour program will commence at 5:30 p.m. and include a ‘question and answering’ session.
