Is your mom “the best?”

inmaricopa.com and Bashas’ are teaming up to recognize Maricopa moms this Mother’s Day. Through a Best Mom in Maricopa contest, you can celebrate your mom and show your appreciation for all she does.

The essay contest’s first place winner will receive a $100 Bashas’ gift certificate and floral bouquet. The second place winner will receive a $50 Bashas’ gift certificate and third place winner a $25 Bashas’ gift certificate and both will also receive a Mother’s Day bouquet from the Bashas’ floral department.

To submit an entry, simply email an essay of no more than 200 words to [email protected] addressing “Why My Mom is the Best Mom is Maricopa.” All ages are encouraged to participate. Include your name, age, phone number, email address and, of course, you mother’s name. Please feel free to include up to three photos as well.

The contest is open to Maricopa moms only and essays must be received by May 4. Winners will be notified on May 6 – to ensure they have time to surprise mom on Mother’s Day – and announced on inmaricopa.com on Mother’s Day, May 8.
