IT’S NO YOLK: Relay for Life egging on Maricopans to join fight vs. cancer

The only thing better than an easter-egg hunt is one that raises money for cancer research,

Easter is coming, and despite recent spikes in prices, don’t be surprised if your yard is egged.

It’s no yolk — but don’t worry, it’s all in fun for a good cause.

On Saturday, April 8, volunteer “bunnies” will begin egging yards as Relay for Life kicks off its annual Egg My Yard! fundraiser. Volunteers will scatter candy- and toy-filled plastic eggs in the front yards of Maricopans who order the service.

For those who prefer to hide the eggs themselves, volunteers will leave a bag filled with eggs for you.

Eggs may be ordered at 20 for $15, 40 for $25, 60 for $40, or 100 for $55. Net proceeds benefit Relay for Life of Maricopa and The American Cancer Society.

Relay for Life’s goal is to sell 5,500 eggs, which would be 1,500 more than last year.

Eggs may be ordered until March 26. Orders may be placed here. Deliveries are available within city limits.
