Join the stampede to Desert Passage Saturday night

KB Home officially opened its Desert Passage community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday evening. Following a tour of the various models, guests dined in style in a large party tent.

Greg Williams, Phoenix Division President of KB Home, addressed the attendees, saying, “We dedicate this community to the City of Maricopa.”

Greg Williams, KB Home’s Phoenix Division President, and Mayor Kelly Anderson cut the ribbon to officially open Desert Passage. Councilmen Will Dunn and Steve Baker, Vice-Mayor Brent Murphree and the KB Home operations committee were also present.

On Saturday evening, September 16, from 6-9 p.m. the public is invited to join KB Home for a barbecue dinner with all the trimmings plus live western music. Bring the kids for pony rides, kettle corn, and a petting zoo plus other kid rides and amusements.

Desert Passage includes three communities: Juniper, Watercress and Sage. These brand-new neighborhoods feature such family-friendly amenities as trails, tot lots, ramadas, sports fields, a community pool and water spray park.
