Kimball apologizes, promises to answer questions

2009

Maricopa City Councilman Bridger Kimball, in a statement he read Tuesday during the city council meeting, apologized to residents for his recent citation for driving under the influence and promised to answer residents’ questions once the judicial process has taken place.

Kimball was arrested Dec. 15 for making an unsafe lane change, driving under the influence and being impaired to the slightest degree.

Depending on the results of a blood test Kimball underwent, he could be facing additional charges for driving under the influence.

Kimball has not yet gone to court.

Addressing his remarks to “my friends, neighbors, fellow members of council and to everyone I serve as a city councilmember,” Kimball said, “many of you have questions; I understand that.”
