Looking for a job in the educational field?

Leading Edge Academy has positions open and will interview candidates 3:30-7 p.m. on Feb. 23. The school is looking for instructional assistants and campus aides, as well as elementary and special-education teachers.

There will be first- and second-round interviews and some candidates may be hired on the spot for the 2023-24 school year.

The school requests that job candidates register in advance for an interview time. Walk-ins may be seen between scheduled appointments on a first-come, first-served basis.

Candidates should enter through the main front office, where they will be directed to their interview. Leading Edge Academy asks that walk-in candidates bring a copy of their resume.

“We do not require any experience,” said Mary Ellen Lee, director of development for Leading Edge Academy Charter Schools. “This event is really for people who have taught previously or are wanting to get into teaching at an ever-growing school in the Maricopa community.”
