Following the enrollment success of his winter photography classes, Jake Johnson of Jake Johnson Pictures is offering his Picture Perfect Winter 2010 photo classes to Maricopans of any age or skill level.

“And you don’t need a fancy camera either,” said Johnson. “Any camera will do.”

The course consists of four two-hour classes, which can be taken separately at $30 each (returning students pay $25 each) or together for a total of eight hours of instruction for $110. Payment is due at the first class attended, either by cash or check.

Picture Perfect classes (click here for details), with locations to be announced, are scheduled for the following dates:

Class 1:  “Adios AUTO!”  Tuesday, May 18, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Class 2:  “Art of Imagery” Thursday, May 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Class 3:  “Mastering Light” Tuesday, June 1, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Class 4:  “Photoshop Elements” Wednesday, May 26, 5:45-7:45 p.m.

“Every class is designed to bring you to a new level,” Johnson explained.

Students in previous Picture Perfect sessions commented on the classes:

Shannon Williams added, “Jake goes about teaching in an easy and approachable manner.  He’d come over to help us one on one. He’s genuinely interested in improving my photography skills.”

“I got a lot out of the photo classes. It is so nice to able to take my camera off AUTO, and be able to take more professional-looking pictures,” said Jackie Root. “I would highly recommend to anyone that has an interest in photography to take the class; photos are a lifetime treasure!”

Prospective students and area residents interested in registering or finding out more about the classes should contact Johnson as soon as possible at 602-291-1093 or via e-mail at [email protected].
