Victor A Aguirre (PCSO)

A Maricopa man is facing assault and disorderly conduct charges after his arrest Saturday.

Victor Aguirre, 29, was charged with domestic violence assault and disorderly conduct after an incident at a residence on West Alexis Avenue in Homestead, police said.

Around 10 p.m., Maricopa police dispatch received a call from a woman who said her brother, Victor Aguirre, was being aggressive after a verbal argument broke out over cleaning out the dishwasher. Police said Aguirre was said to be screaming in his sister’s face, not liking the way she talked to him. She told police the home was hers and she lived there with her father. Aguirre stayed there on occasion, she said.

While officers were en route to the home on the initial 911 call, the sister called again to report Aguirre had left the residence and headed in an unknown direction, police said.

According to the police report, the sister and father told officers that Aguirre threw several items off the kitchen table as well as VHS tapes. Aguirre allegedly pushed his sister down on the couch, then pushed his father who tried to get between the siblings, police said.

Aguirre was found at a local park and arrested without incident. He was later booked into Pinal County Jail.
