Gonzales had multiple shoplifting offenses since 2016, police said.

A local man is facing shoplifting charges after his arrest Thursday at Walmart.

Isidro Gonzales, 29, was allegedly found to be in possession of 22 unpaid items, totaling around $259, after store employees saw him take numerous items into the bathroom, according to Maricopa police.

Around 1 p.m., officers were dispatched to the retailer on Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway. The man, later identified as Gonzales, was confronted by police in the bathroom. He was wearing pants, a belt and shoes allegedly taken from the store, police said. Employees told police that Gonzales allegedly took a razor and used it to shave, according to a police report.

Gonzales had multiple shoplifting offenses since 2016, police said.

He was arrested and booked into Pinal County Jail.
