A man who is accused of pointing a gun at a woman and threatening to kill her on Sunday caused the Pinal County SWAT team to be called out before he came out of the house without incident and was arrested on five charges.

Tony Dominguez was booked into Pinal County Jail on suspicion of aggravated assault (domestic violence), endangerment (domestic violence), threatening or intimidating (domestic violence) and two counts of disorderly conduct (domestic violence).

According to the probable-cause statement:

At about 12:30 a.m., Oct. 31, Maricopa Police received a call from a woman who stated that Dominguez had pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her at a residence on West Kimberly Street, in the Senita neighborhood.

The woman described the weapon as a black Taurus 9mm handgun, and told police that Dominguez had initially gotten upset because she had spent the previous two nights at a friend’s house.

The woman told officers that Dominguez had left the residence when she had taken a shower, and that while he was gone, she and another resident hid two other guns, a shotgun and “long black gun.”

Dominguez was said to have returned to the residence, and at about 9:30 p.m., the woman told him she was going to the kitchen but left the residence with a friend and later called police.

Pinal County Regional SWAT team called Dominguez out of the house, and he came out without incident and was taken into custody.
