Ace Hardware celebrates 5 years in Maricopa

Maricopa Ace Hardware is celebrating its fifth year in business Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be a sidewalk sale and store specials from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., from 4 to 7 p.m., there will be a free barbecue with live music by The Big Zephyr.

Mike Richey has owned the store for the past 15 months. Richey formerly worked in commercial real estate but wanted to get back to his roots in the hardware business. His parents owned a hardware store while he was growing up in Buffalo, Ind.

“I enjoy doing business in Maricopa and the community has been very supportive,” he said.

The store is located at 21542 N. John Wayne Parkway in the Cobblestone Fiesta plaza.  For more information, call 520-494-7805.
