Maricopa ARTS Council will kick off a full slate of fall city arts events with an Artists Town Hall on Sept. 22.

The free event is a grand convening of Maricopa’s artistic talents, open to the city’s entire creative community from high-school age on up: writers, dancers, choreographers, composers, musicians, actors, singers, directors, sculptors, painters, fashion designers, film personnel, weavers, designer chefs and more – plus supporters of the arts.

The Town Hall will include a wide-ranging information exchange with several exciting announcements of strategic innovations; idea generation for future projects from attendees; and the channeling of inspiration and energy to deepen the thrill of current happenings, while growing local audience support.

Vice Mayor Nancy Smith will address the gathering and there will be an overview of Fall 2021 Arts happenings in dance, film, concert music, theater, visual arts and performance poetry.

The Artists Town hall will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Redwood Room at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center, 18160 N. Maya Angelou Drive.
